Description
Clients with a leafy garden property on a former farm in Jisp requested a multifunctional boathouse.
This boat lies dry under the overhang, and with it, the residents have additional living space, depending on weather conditions. The concept blurs the line between outdoors and indoors with a maneuverable facade, while its recessed concrete terrace provides shelter from the rain.
The boathouse extends the clients enjoyment of outdoor living through the spring and autumn, as it is a space that opens to the elements, and provides enclosure.
